Avril Ramona Lavigne (pronounced / ævrɨl ləvi ː n /, born September 27, 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, fashion designer, actress and philanthropist. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, but spent most of his youth in the small town, Napanee, Ontario. At the age of 15, had appeared on stage with Shania Twain, and 16, Lavigne has signed a recording contract with Arista, RCA Records now. Record executive Antonio "LA" Reid, offered him a contract for two albums over $ 2 million. When I was 17, Lavigne burst onto the music scene with their debut album, Let Go, released in 2002.

The Best Damn Thing, Lavigne's third album, was released in 2007. This album gave Lavigne's third album # 1 on album charts in the UK and gave his first U.S. Billboard Hot 100 single "Girlfriend." Lavigne has scored a total of five # 1 singles worldwide, including "Complicated" "Sk8er Boi", "I'm With You", "My Happy Ending" and "Girlfriend." Lavigne has sold over 30 million copies of his albums worldwide  and is currently one of the top-selling artists releasing albums in the U.S., with over 10.25 million copies certified by the RIAA . [2] Billboard pop artist name Lavigne # 10 in "Best of the 2000's" letter, and she appeared as the 28 best global event of the decade on the basis of album sales, chart success and to cultural relativity in the U.S. Their fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, will be released in March 2011 with the first single to be released in January.
