Taylor Daniel Lautner (pronounced /ˈlaʊtnər/;born February 11, 1992) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jacob Black in the Twilight film series, though he is also notable for roles in family films such as The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

Lautner attended public school until 10th grade and subsequently tested out of high school.

On August 23, 2010, Lautner filed a lawsuit against an RV dealership for failing to deliver a 2006 customized $300,000 Affinity Country Coach RV on time. He was reportedly planning to use it as a dressing room on the set of Abduction.^[

Lautner was romantically linked to country-pop singer Taylor Swift in 2009. Both Swift and Lautner referenced their relationship during their individual Saturday Night Live monologues in late 2009. The song "Back To December" off of Swift's album Speak Now has been widely speculated to be dedicated to Lautner.
