The 16 year old, who was discovered on YouTube.com by record label executives, is now the king of the Internet, there are more searches for Bieber than anyone else in the world, including the previous title holder Lady Gaga. Bieber also scores three times as many searches as soccer star David Beckham, according to the search engine Ask Jeeves. A spokesperson for Ask Jeeves says, "The Bieber is an online sensation so it’s fitting he now rules the search engines. It’s as though to millions he only exists on the netPamela-Anderson

 

But this is a history site so my vote goes to Pamela Anderson for all time.
